Is this the hero/heroine/antagonist? HERO
Q: Intro the book.
Foster is my story, I guess. It is my name. Let’s see, where to start… Well, I suppose I should say this is the story about how I’ve come to live in Dark Moon Falls.
Q: Tell us about yourself. Do you consider yourself your author’s muse or bane of her/his existence?
I think she and I get alone alright. I’d like to be useful, though I don’t see myself as anyone’s muse. As an artist, I do, however, understand the importance of having one. Hopefully, C.D. hasn’t lost much sleep over me, but I can’t promise that.
Q: What do you think readers will like best about you? Worst?
I hope readers appreciate my honesty and my singular focus once I meet the woman fate has designed for me. They might want me to hurry things along, but if my fated mate requires patience, then I will be patient and so will my readers.
Q: Let’s get serious for a few moments… Favorite beverage?
I’m mostly a water kind of guy during the day. Beer is alright. Black coffee is better.
Q: Vegetarian or red meat?
I’m a predator so red meat it is.
Q: Sleep in pajamas or in the nude?
Nude, unless I’m walking around the house, then it’s pajama bottoms or boxers.
Q: Lights on or lights out?
Ladies choice. I do not have a preference. Besides, I see just fine in the dark.
Q: In the beginning of the book, do you have a mate/spouse? If so, tell us about him/her. If not, is there someone you have your eye on? Or who has their eye on you?
I’ve got a lot on my plate at the beginning of the book. I’m trying to clear my name after I’d been wrongly convicted of a crime I did not commit; however, a chance meeting at Delight’s Diner has me running smack dab into my mate.
Q: Favorite place to seduce your partner?
Anywhere, anytime. She is my everything and I want her always.
Q: What do you wish the heroine understood about you?
It is my deepest wish to have my mate understand that my devotion to her is more than just instinctual, it is my choice. I may be a Wolf, but I am also a man and both sides of me choose her.
Q: If you could rewrite one scene in the book, what would it be? How would you rewrite?
I would probably rewrite the first impression scene. I was kind of shocked and may have given the wrong idea when little Skylar bumped into my legs. The last thing I was expecting was for her mother to be my mate.
Q: Has your author ever put you into an embarrassing situation? How did you handle it?
Well, I don’t know about embarrassing, but I would have rather not done time. That would have saved me from having to explain my past.
Q: Is there anything specific in this book of which you are particularly proud?
Yes. Many scenes where my mate proved to be so much more than I deserve. Her courage, her willingness to trust me, her gorgeous smile. I could go on and on, but you will just have to read it.
Q: Would you like to add anything else?
I’d like to say thank you to A. K. Michaels and Bella Roccaforte, and to all the Dark Moon Falls authors for creating this world without which I would not be here, and of course to C.D., but she knows how I feel about her.
